Who is responsible for your data
Provecho (the “Service”) processes the data you enter in order to provide the functionality of the app. Questions: elartedesanars3@gmail.com.
What data we collect
- Account: your email and name (from Google, Apple or sign-up).
- Family profile: names, ages, sex, goals, food likes and dislikes.
- Health data you choose to record: weight, measurements, habits, progress photos and lab files.
- Photos: of your fridge, dishes or grocery receipts, when you use those features.
Sensitive data (health)
Some data (health, breastfeeding, lab results) is sensitive. By recording it, you expressly consent to its processing for the purposes described here. You may choose not to record it and still use most of the app.
What we use it for
Only to provide the service: generating plans, lists, recipes, analyses and recommendations, and showing you your progress. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with (providers)
To operate, we use providers that process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database and file storage.
- Google Gemini (AI) — processes the text and the images and files you upload (lab results, photos of dishes or your fridge) to generate the responses.
- RevenueCat — manages subscriptions purchased inside the app.
- Pexels — stock photos of dishes.
- Vercel — application hosting.
Minors
Profiles for children and babies are created and managed by their parents or guardians, under their responsibility and consent.
Security and retention
We protect your data with our providers' security measures (encryption in transit, per-family access rules). We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
Your rights
You may access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your data. You can delete your account and all your information from Settings → Delete account inside the app, or by writing to elartedesanars3@gmail.com.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Notice; we will publish the new date above.
Note: this notice is an initial version aligned with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data. As Provecho grows, it should be reviewed by a specialist.
